I got the original release and it’s actually pretty cool, I have her displayed with bingo toys wind girl, their black arachnia, and big firebird’s arcee. It doesn’t look that bad once you position its back bits sort of like butterfly wings. This however is a lazy repaint. They should have done a goldbug repaint instead and added an extra face plate that had the mouth guard

I really don't have any confidence in the cinematic future of Transformers or GI Joe. The Bumblebee movie was the pinnacle of Transformers as far as live-action goes. Should have kept the ball rolling with the same writers and director. The '86 movie still holds its own too. The TF One movie isn't for me. If it gets the younger crowd into Transformers, that's great but I doubt it. The brand is losing ground with kids as they just aren't into toys anymore. They should just make the movies with a strong video game to expand the stories for merchandise or focus on standalone video games that will appeal to both fans and gamers.

MMC Dezaurus is not in scale with Irontoys Starsaber. That’s my main issue with MMC. XTB Dezaurus is in scale with Irontoys Starsaber. Taking XTB forever to release their figures.

There'll never be a true MP scale Metroplex. Optimus should be shorter than his head. These large Metroplexes are Legends scale.

The funny thing is hasbro said they put gears chest piece in the box so people won't steal it when they could have just put a window on the box instead. They basically admitted they know people steal pieces off the windowless boxes but choice to keep doing it. My tidalwave was suppose to be out in July but got the phone call 2 weeks ago that it was in . Here in Canada at thr gamestops in 3 cities around me they will only pre-order titans now they no longer just order them they had gotten the cybertron metroplex and it was shelf warming and 1 of the gamestop still has it there .

Super7 said they werent going to make replicas of the old o-ring figures. They said everything would be Sunbow and comic style. You cant not include the main characters or the line will fail. That’s why the newest Thundercats wave was only Lion-O and Mumm-Ra. Theyre the only 2 characters that sell well per Flynn. He said the difference between them and the rest, saleswise is huge. That Moon Night is essential if you build teams and need to finish your West Coast Avengers.

SDCC Zartan comes with a smirking head, the regular version didn't. That might get me to purchase since I thought the lack of a smirking head was a glaring omission.

1:51 years ago, joytoy used to pump out a lot of 1/24 through 1/28 scale stuff. The human figures scaled well with M.A.S.K. and had great articulation. I've wanted joytoy to do more of that for years, but I guess once they got warhammer, and the audience for 1:18 scale had their beaks wet, it was likely more financially prudent for to follow tose scales/brands. 😕 8:55 these habe the fun factor that the R.E.D. line was missing. And, if R.E.D. was going to make all characters at that size, scale be 🚯, then *_make the human characters at that 6-inch size!_* 😮‍💨 16:20 They don't need to invest in a lot of screen time for the desired characters first time out, just make a significant impact in the limited, maybe 2 action scenes for them. Then have a narrative that they're off to tactically take down another obstacle in the plot, and that'll wet the beak for people wanting more, while also being able to make & sell toys. Think of that opening sequence on cybertron of the 1st bumblebee movie. People loved it, wanted more, and bought the toys... from that single arc of the storyline, that they even split in the movie to show that eventually happened to optimus from BB's perspective. 17:41 comic now, stripped down, "retro" version later.

Fresh Monkey should make figures based on the cartoon. There would be more of a reason to get characters people already have, plus they could make characters that never got figures

Admittedly, it's a nice (although incomplete) looking playset. I just can't justify spending $400 for what amounts to some plastic walls and a bar. Maybe if Hasbro had thrown in a floor and some more figures to populate the cantina with (including Figrin D'an & The Modal Nodes), I'd think about it.

Man...the chest looks off. It's not shape right. Like it's too big and has no 'wings' to balance transition to the arms. It just makes the figure looks weird.

Hey Mike! I like your videos, but in this case should have done a little homework. I asked The chosen prime why they canceled Blitzwing now, and it’s because Fanstoys has NEW preorders coming with a new price of course. I ask Fanstoys themselves if we’re getting an update and they said Tfcon next month. Also said Menasor is done and will be shown as well. So with completion of Blitzwing and Menasor preorders will be dropping shortly after Tfcon in a couple weeks for an early 2025 release since there’s nothing on the board for 2025 yet. They said Ultra Magnus will be the last release of 2024.

I wouldn't mind the back kibble so much if they went the extra mile and have it fold together better, almost like a 3rd transformation so it doesn't look like the half the car just sticking out of her back. At the same time, without the kibble, she looks like she's lacking a little. She just looks like a fembot, not a transformer fembot.

Fans Toys really is the GOLD Standard amongst Masterpiece. HOWEVER, that being said, there are other Excellent options at a much better Price Point, and YES, sometimes FT does lose from time to time. I passed on KFCs, just to wonky from reviews, looked good though, picked up a couple of DX9s, love the Jet mode, not accurate, but MAN it is AWESOME, the tank was alright, and the bot mode was good. Star Toys pretty much NAILED it and got one. Do I like the ReColor? Absolutely, but there is nothing wrong with the one I got, although, having a second at that Price Point for any of the modes is having me jump off the fence to do it. Is FTs Superion and Menasor better than its comp? I think so yes. HOWEVER, you are 100% correct in that DX9 and XTB do make great choices, I also LOVE the ZETA Combined mode, and have a 2nd for Jet modes, the FTs will be the Bot mode. Personally I think the upcoming Constructicon War, although GREAT for the Consumer aka FANS, is a waste of Resources. Why Compete? Keep it on the back burner, allow your comp to do it, revist it, revise their work, improve it, then put yours out at a better price point if you can. There are also so many other options they could choose to put their resources towards. A BETTER Combaticon Set - Love the MMC, just under tall, bots are excellent representations Protectobot Set - Slowly coming out by MMC and XTB, stay tuned, but my money is on MMC, again will be undertall Technobot Set TerroCon Set - Needs a BIG Revist and Update Monstructor - lots and lots of room for a G1 interpretation PredaCons - Cangtoys was nice, but it's definitely not G1 accurate, a shame Still waiting on that Metroplex (Titan) Sized Trypticon. Why? It would be a HUGE seller. Titans Trypticon is sadly undersized. So many other secondary figures that could be done, and sell well, as many have the collection they mostly want, tweaking aside, as there will always be, should I get this, and switch out? or should I do this instead? or am I happy with that representation?

Got tired of waiting so I just bought the reissue of Star Toy Blitzwing instead.
